Some people I’ve gone out with a few times posted up to Facebook a guy went out with a rav4 and sent it like @atpage

    upload_2021-4-19_20-13-51.jpg

this is from a Facebook post - hoping y’all got less damage than that!

speaking of @atpage when I was getting your beer I was at a store just googling “where can you get X beer” to check for something y’all can’t get around there and is more local to RI/New England.

 I Am not a beer pro. Founders is a big Michigan brewery you can find just about anywhere.

Yeah, I beat up the rear bumper pretty much every time I go out. Hopefully it will eventually get bad enough to replace with a high clearance. I'll just keep taking the scrapes until then. It's only plastic after all. I'm more disappointed with the wheel I curbed, since I was following the "spotter" at the time. I think I can just sand+paint it.

There's nothing wrong with free beer! Hope the Carib worked out.

Couple of videos here, of @atpage and @Leprechaun311 on the cement, then two coming down the hill on the red trail. Gives a little idea of trail conditions for those that were not there. Apologies in advance for the 7 year old play by play, and 3 year old throwing in her comments/screams as she needed to.

Thank you. I love the little fist pump in the air when my rig finally got out of the concrete

If anyone is interested, these two things worked great on the black TRD wheel. At least so far:

    https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p...l-gray-filler-primer-8-oz.-bpr0031/99984849-p
    https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/duplicolor-wheel-coating-gloss-black-11-oz-hwp108/11646338-p

Just took a little bit of sanding and a few coats of each.

I know this is an old thread but I wanted to let everyone know I finally fixed that fucking clunk, and thank everyone who stopped to help me diagnose.

It was the lower control arm cam bolt. It apparently needs to be torqued down to at least 100 ft lbs and while it wasn't 'loose' it was not tight enough. A thread on TW recommended 130 ft lbs so I played it safe and did 110.

The kicker? It was the right side, not the left like we were all checking...

I'd tag people but I don't remember names, let alone usernames of those who help me. Thank you all though!

Glad it was something simple. That’s why I hate the chain shops and I’m speaking as someone who was fired from a chain shop for forgetting to torque down an oil drain plug and blew up a Camry.
