    Yep, no spacers.
The Hilux has an original offset +30, same as the Tacoma i believe. I may have to find new flares so i'm road legal

Neat. Yeah my stock Sport wheels are +30 but I also have 1.5" spacers (and the tires are still an inch away from the coils) with 255/80R17s.... With these I think I'll have more clearance at the coil and be able to run 285s on my next set of tires without worry. The tire poke is just a plus to me.

I have read through this thread a few times when debating these over another wheel. Saw it got revived with some other posts. I just ordered a set of 5 and some 33's to mount on them. I cant wait.

The temperatures here in Norway are starting to be more stable and its heading towards spring, so i pulled the trigger and mounted up the new wheels today!

Very happy how these turned out on the truck! Had to do some minor modifications to the bumper and flares to make turning clearance. Rubs a small bit on the cab mount, but have made plans to install upgraded springs in the front since the ones that are there now have sagged over the 4 years I've had this lift. Hope this will help a small bit, but if not its chop chop time

Did anyone have to run hubcentric rings on stock tacoma hubs? I know stock wheels are hub and lug centric but with these being aftermarket I figured the hub bore was bigger than stock hub.
I picked up some gorilla extended lugs in anticipation and assume since they are acorn style they will align the wheel to the studs making them lug centric.

Just curious what lugs people are running and if a hub centric ring is needed.

No need for the hubcentric rings on these wheels. The Vors are hubcentric (106.1 hub bore -same as toyota factory wheels).
I’m nearly 100% sure that the extended thread style lugs won’t work because the bore size (on the wheel) for the lugs are too small. I tried some extended thread lugs and the extended threaded part was too big for the lug hole. So, I used regular acorn style lugs and they worked great. They seemed to catch plenty enough thread as well.

Thanks for the input, I test fit the extended lugs and they didnt seem to fit in the hole very well. I might have to order some regular acorn non extended lugs then. Thanks for the input!
Do the stock lugs fit inside the holes? Would those get me by until I get the acorn style?

Unfortunately, stock lug nuts will not work on your Vors.
Do save 6 of the stock lugs for your spare if you will still use your factory spare. The aftermarket acorn style lugs won’t work on factory spare.

How many turns of the lugnut are people getting with these wheels? Since the wheels are thicker than stock and don't allow for extended length lug nuts I think I only got about 5-6 turns of the aftermarket lug before they were snug then about half a turn to torque spec.

Has anyone installed longer studs or is that enough to safely grip? Doesn't seem like enough for me.

Not totally happy with the amount of turns I got on the lugs before torqueing them down but here is an update with pictures. Waiting on extended length wheel studs to see how I feel going forward but city driving shouldn't be too bad. 17x8.5 wrapped in Kenda Klever 33x10.5r17

Lift is Icon RXT leaf's set at setting 2 (3+" lift) Bilstein 5100's OME 887 (2.5" lift) full skids which is why its only about 2.5" in the front.

Yes they take conical lug nuts, they will not accept the stock or extended thread (ET) conical lugs. The lug holes taper too much. I went with gorilla lugs on recommendation from many aftermarket wheel threads throughout the forum. I got about 6.5 turns when torqued with regular conical lugs.

good looking wheels. I really love the volks, and these look nearly identical. Prices seem to be 650 to 700 for a set

Those are the extended thread ones that do not work with these wheels. I grabbed the same ones from gorilla and they did not work. The stud holes on the wheel are too narrow for the extended part to fit inside. you need a conical or "acorn" style lug. I went with these from gorilla and haven't had any issues yet: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0040ULXY8?ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details

    Cool thanks!

I'm thinking about powdercoating my black vors to a dark blue metallic.

Just got back from discount tire where I had them road force balance 3 of my 5 wheels because I was noticing a vibration on the rear 2 and the spare when swapped in at 60-75mph. They tossed them on their machine and confirmed all 3 were bent. the worst being the one that vibrates pretty bad at 60-70 and the other two being less bad vibrating from 65-75. Got a video of one of them on the machine. I am contacting the seller to see if I have any options to get my money back.
Let me see if I can get the video uploaded somewhere.

Yup, thats pretty bad, and 100% a production fault. Weird it even made it past the quality check…
I used to work for a tire&wheel business some years ago and usually get a replacement wheel from the wholesale store, hopefully you will that too. Crossing fingers for you!

if that doesnt work out, id try contacting Vors directly, pretty sure they dont want to have a bad reputation as a brand in the industry…
Hope it works out for you!
