about to do lift and tires on my '15, in regards to trimming, i know I don't need to trim the fender, but I want to because it gives the look of more travel, which I dig. I did 3in coilovers on the front with 2in aal on the back, and want the simulation of an inch or two extra. The only examples i've seen are paired with a bumper, where the front half of the fender is cut off already, so my first question is can i do it without the bumper, and still have the full length of the fender, with just less height. And second, will it cause any lasting issues such as rusting if I remove the wheel well cover. Any pics if you've done this to yours would be much appreciated!

You can remove the bumper it’s pretty easy. Couple of tabs and clips. As long as you paint the metal afterwards it will not cause any detrimental effects.

yeah i'ts more the fact of that the bumper sits on the end of the fender, the examples i've seen have all been using a high clearance bumper, so the old one is not in.. does that still work with the stock one?
