I don't own a Tacoma for one reason: I didn't fit in the cab to feel comfortable when I was looking for a new track in '20.
Now someone told me that in '21 they increase the interior space. I find it hard to believe and decided to ask the community before I go and start busting dealers chops.
Is it bigger? More leg room?

Other than TSS-P in 2018 and the powered drivers seat in 2020, there has been no other significant structural or hardware changes for major components. It is said that the 2020+ drivers seat will go down about 0.5in lower than the pre-2020 seat.

IMHO, the high ground clearance and low roofline is the Taco's party trick, but some folks just don't fit.

I’m 5’10” and I raised my power seat so I could see over the hood better. One downside is that it can be hard to see stoplights at times. One of these days I might install a front camera.

Yup. I'm 6ft with a long torso. I look out of the top of the windshield in my 2017 and do like the cozy cab. I'm kind of used to it as we had a convertible in the past with a low windshield.

I’m 5’11 and very comfortable in my driver seat . No change in cab space . You do get the electric driver seat helps a lot to adjust for comfort .the back seat is useless for adults over 5’2 .

I'm 6'3", and felt slightly claustrophobic when I sat in it. ('19 and '20 w/ power seat) I have long legs, I felt that steering column is way short. I had to extend my arms to grab the steering wheel. Roof is low and leg room is a whole other issue for me.

Yeah. The minimal steering adjustment is almost funny. I've been in smaller stuff that had at least triple of the Taco's adjustment.

As I read it the power seats have some vertical up and down from the non powered seats.
    Is it enough? :notsure:

I’m 6’4” and fit fine in my ‘21 DC. I test drove a ‘19 and the power seat makes a huge difference in seating. Also went without moonroof so I can sit a little more upright which free’s up space for my kids in the back. They are early teens and while long trips might get uncomfortable they do fine around town.

    Craig,

The best thing to do is go down to a dealership and sit in one. I'm not that tall at 5' 6" and felt the front power seat gave me plenty of available adjustments. I was more concerned with leg room in the back for the kids. I had my oldest come with me to check out the Tacoma and the Ranger. The Ranger is supposed to have 1.5" of more space in the back but you never would have known from when my oldest sat in both back seats. Seats in Tacoma gave him more room than the Ranger. One thing you will find is the head room in the Ranger feels huge after sitting in the Tacoma.

I wouldn't call the power seat difference from manual as a "huge". It's a little better, but not for my long legs. Unfortunately.

OP must be really really big. I mean really really. I'm 6'2, 200 lbs and my little slight frame fits quite comfortably in my 2017 SR A/C (with a 4 bang bang and 5 spd spd.)

    That would be problematic.

For me, I like low seats with legs forward versus SUV seating that seems to be in everything that has me sitting legs down.
