I was after something mild. I have about 350 +/- in gear and tonneau in/on the bed. With the weight I was really starting to see sag after 36,000 miles. I opted for Bilstein 5100 all the way around, a 1/4 spacer on the driver side, and HeadStrong 1.5 AAl (pack). The fronts were set at the middle notch for a 1.1" lift. It was a straight forward install, minus the sketchy system we came up with for compressing springs. It rides an inch above factory in the front, and 1.25 above factory in the back with the load. It has just a touch of rake with all my crap, so exactly what I was working for. All in all it came out great, and was very timely as the front right shock was leaking a ton. The truck feels more planted, and handles bumps a lot better.

As you can see I did the much talked about bumper mod on the back left corner. It was a little tough, but with just the right angle and speed my wife's VW golf was a perfect fit.

I have been shopping around for a aftermarket bumper, but I am not keen on adding a bunch of weight.
