Just stating it’s value. Most of these people are stealing these for the purchase of drugs. Not cocaine though. Too expensive for them. But if cartels are getting in on this it’s simply because the price of platinum is about the same as cocaine. Getting caught with a cat is a lot less punishment than getting caught with cocaine. And there is no restrictions of transporting used cats or platinum over the boarders unless you can prove it’s stolen.

True... I haven’t practiced in a while. Haven’t done much of any shooting in the last year or so. Ammo is too expensive... when you can even find it half the time.

That’s just cause there a lot of slop built into ye old 1911s. Try putting some hollow point into those old throats and see how it all shakes out though.
