    Hey guys and gals,

I am looking for a little help and opinions to an issue I’m having.

I have a 2017 Sport and just recently put a 2.25” front and 2” rear leveling kit on it. I also put on 17x9 +1 offset wheels with 285/70/17 at3w tires.

I got the the needle bearing vibration and some other driveline vibrations. While I was waiting on my ECGS bushing to arrive, I put in the diff drop and carrier bearing spacers. Not sure if it helped anything.

I finally got my bushing last week and put it in this past weekend. I had some difficulty getting the new bushing in the differential, but finally got it in far enough (according to some pictures from some threads on here). I put it all together and the vibration and humming sound at lower speeds is gone. But I am getting a rhythmic humming at high speeds. It happens at highway speeds and will stop when I let off of the gas pedal and will start back when I get back on it. I know I’m getting a little high speed vibration in the steering wheel, that I think is coming from my tires. I am going to get them road forced balanced this week.
After all that, this is my question. Where should I start? Should I get the tires balanced and see where I’m at after that? Do you think the humming noise could be the tires out of balance or should I be looking at the drive train for something? Maybe the diff drop or carrier bearing spacers were not needed and are just causing issues? Let me know what you think.
Appreciate any help or advice you can spare. Thanks

    Probably the rear differential whine.

Sounds like rear driveshaft angles are not matched correctly between all the ujoints

Is the rear diff whine a common thing? How would I check the drive shaft angles? Should I take out the carrier spacers? Thanks guys

Jump on YouTube and start watching some videos about checking and setting up 2 piece driveshaft angles.
