What I woke up to this morning. Snow this late in April is like an old friend coming back one last time to say goodbye. I like the snow.

 

I used to live near this old van that had a license plate that said chupaaqui. It was all blacked out with the little bubble window, lots of rake. Big ass bat painted on the side and it said something about chupacabre on there also. It was scary, so I don’t think I ever took a picture.

 

I have to agree. I think they are way too cluttered up in their design. They look like an aftermarket body parts store display.
Simple, clean lines always looks nicer..... IMO

 

I have personalized plates. The downside is that people can more easily remember your license plate. Not that I do anything wrong of course, just saying. On a side note, my buddy has a 1967 Ford Pickup in show room condition. His plates read, “67Ford.” Yet, some people who admire the truck still ask him what model year it is. He tells them it is a 1968.

 

And in the West we are in an extreme drought once again. I look at your picture of snow with some envy. He’s me this week checking on guzzlers (structures designed to capture rain water for animals). Dry as it can be. Will be a hard year for quail, chukar and other critters.

 

If you paint the roof racks and sharkfin antenna red, it could be Rufio!

 

I've been thinking of doing this for a while now, just haven't pulled the trigger yet. Did you notice any difference in light output or color temp between the chrome and black versions? There shouldn't be... but all the pictures of the black versions look like the light is very blue-tinted.

had these on my 09 and they performed well. Price was fantastic on them. We've also ran other sumitomo tires on wife's SUV. no complaints at all.

Yup. Powerbrake supplied the stainless braided front lines with the kit, and I purchased rear lines from Wheelers. I'm also going with Motul 5.1 fluid.

 

I was out at hi mountain, and then Miranda pines off the 166 the other day. It’s insane how low Lopez is and there is no water up near fig mtn. Gonna be real tough.

 

I would imagine so since they only sit about 1/2” under the frame. Haven’t had a chance to check that though.
