10-12 weeks for Leer 100XQ?

Dealer in Birmingham told me 10-12 weeks on my 100XQ order in Super White. Has anyone else heard a lead time like this? Or is the dealer giving a large enough time span to cover his ass if a delay came up and Leer will actually get it to me quicker than he said? and also would like to hear some reviews from owners, how you like them, how the paint holds up, etc

 

If i were the dealer, id definitely be under promising and over delivering. Lets hope thats the case.

 

Definitely hoping that’s the case. Not a lot of options in my area, you’re basically limited to the same dealer company just different mortar locations. I wanted to have it set up for camping ASAP but mid July kinda blows the season in half. Probably should’ve ordered earlier but I just now got the extra cheese together

 

Don't feel bad - my Leer 180 took about 3 months from date of order to installation.
It's all related to COVID's effects on supply chain and working conditions under COVID restrictions. No doubt a build-up of backlog as well.

 

I was told 10-12 weeks for the ARE I have on order.

 

Up here in Canada it's the same issue.

 

Yup it sucks. I was quoted 8-10 weeks. Took 14 weeks to get to me. Dealer felt bad and refunded some money back to me which was nice. Kept getting all the excuses to, “COVID is the reason”; “factory only working 1 shift”; “Karen didn’t put your order in right”; “takes 6 weeks for transit”. Heard it all. However after the 14 weeks, it was worth it. Patience is key

 

I am in California where Leer manufacturer is and I was quoted 8-10 weeks as well. Same with ARE and Snugtop.
