How much is your CO registration this year? (2020)

$710 for my 2020 TRDOR in DougCo

 

For the Light Truck Class Colorado charges not only tax on the value of the vehicle but also a user fee based upon the weight of the vehicle. Because I purchased my Taco from a dealer I did not have to have mine weighed, the dealer provided that info to the DMV.

 

$105 for my 2001 in Larimer County

 

For 2021/2022 on my '17 is $221

 

$227 El Paso County

 

For my “new to me” 2019 DCSB it was $400, Boulder County

 

Finally got an appointment! Paid $526 in Arapahoe County for my 2020 off road longbed.

It also weighs exactly five thousand pounds with the tent and bed rack.

 

Just got my renewal in the mail, 2020 DCSB SR5 comes to 512.45 in Garfield County. About $200 less than last year when it was new.

 

112 with online renewal fee larimer county 2010

Hmm I haven't gotten the renewal letter yet and it expires in August. What's up with that

 

I never understood why registration in many states varies by age of the vehicle. In WI my OR DBLCB is $100 whether it is a brand new 2021 or 1991 (based on what weight rating you choose). They both put the same wear and tear on the roads.

 

Has to do with how the state collects taxes. TX is a flat rate for car reg, but property taxes are a lot higher than here. All trade offs
