At least my State Farm agent at least calls me back/replies. Probably because I get the Rodgers rate as a Packers fan. Or maybe because he wants continued business. But probably the Packers thing

Can you please reply to my question(s) on this thread? I tagged you but maybe this will work better. I see you were replying on Christmas Day to earlier questions, any chance you could give me an update as well? Would sure be nice.

Yeah, they FINALLY emailed today and among the reasons they gave (this time), Rona was part of it. But then I was told the pods (part of the order that didn’t show up) are apparently on back order. That doesn’t happen out of the blue - and they clearly knew when they sold me the rack that the pods were on back order but it took them a month and a half to simply pass that along. No explanation as to why my light bar just now shipped, especially since I was given a tracking number on 1/6/21, but according to UPS it shipped on the 12th. I understand delays, and frankly I like the rack, but their inability to communicate anything and simply ignore around 75% of my emails is a problem to me. They sold me an item they knew they didn’t have on hand (but certainly took my money as though they did) and only updated me 6-7 weeks later after I pretty much hounded them and threaten to file a BBB complaint. Also, they made about 4 other excuses prior to just telling me they didn’t have them.

As you can see they aren’t replying here either, even though I have tagged them and replied to one of their comments directly. Customer service and support clearly isn’t something they value, and I think that matters and people should be aware

I get you’re upset man, but whining on the internet won’t make it better.

Life sucks sometimes, ya know, like when you or your loved one gets cancer, waiting for a roof rack should rate well below that.

    good luck

I hate to hear all this happening. I had a good experience with the company and my order. Even had to call and change the order twice but they were available and helpful. Definitely surprised to come across this thread and hopefully it all gets sorted out in a timely manner!

Yeah, life sucks sometimes. And yes, this pales in comparison to REAL problems like cancer, etc. But I thought this was a forum for Tacomas, and this particular thread pertaining to CaliRaised and customer service, so it seemed like an appropriate place to “whine” (as you call it, I would say tell my story so that people that come here looking for perspective have it).

I guess I didn’t realize that since this is a first world problem that I shouldn’t talk about it. My bad.

I'm sure everything will get worked out in the end. I know it sucks when you're the one stuck in the middle and it's your time and money involved but hang in there man!

I come to TacomaWorld before almost every purchase I make for my truck to read others opinions about the product and their experience with the vendors. I take just as much consideration, if not more, in how a company decides to treat it's customers as I do the quality of the product before making any purchasing decisions. We depend on reviews like this to make informed decisions about the people we decide to do business with. @CaliRaisedLed knowingly sold parts they didn't have in stock nor would have in stock for months and instead of communicating they chose to ghost @CalvBlue which is terrible service and unnecessary. I have waited up to 9 months before for parts and did so happily because before I ordered there was expected wait times listed on the website. I am currently waiting for a part which will take 6 more months to arrive, but I was informed going in. The CaliRaised said 7-10 days as an estimated wait, not multiple months. They should do better to inform their customers what the realistic time frames are to avoid situations like this. After 20 years of custom install and fabrication experience I have unfortunately seen manufacturing companies operate this way and it is sickening. They come across as having the attitude that once they have your money they don't care about upholding their end of the deal. There is no excuse for a lack of communication. Thank you for the review of Cali-Raised customer service in the Cali-Raised Customer Service thread which is exactly one of the purposes of TW. I hope you get the parts they took your money for soon. I certainly will never shop with them again.

just had one of my fog lights break on the truck and sent an email on friday. lets hope they get in contact with me a bit quicker than some of the folks here. although reading through this thread I'm probably going to have to take the L and just order a better quality set of fog lights. should have done my research before purchasing

I'm having the same issue. Been almost two months since my order. I've tried emailing and calling this week. I'm not in a huge rush and I'm sure it's COVID but it's just nice to be updated with "hang tight, shit still sucks."

I had ordered some bed brackets from CaliRaised and it was shipped at the expected time. All parts came in with some spare washers. Packaging could have been better but not really a huge complaint as everything was in the box.. I guess it also depends on the product you're buying from them. I saw a review where the person's bed brackets' powder coating came off after a year. Hopefully this is not the case for mine.

I never really had to reach out to Caliraised for customer service so I couldn't post a review about that portion. Hopefully all you guys' problems got resolved. I'm just unearthing some stuff about CaliRaised and their business practices. Luckily no issues for me but I've only bought one thing from them so far.

Yup yup yup! These guys at Cali Raised most definitely have an attitude issue. I placed an order with them off their website and all indication was everything was "in stock". Next day they emailed me to let me know that part of my order was "out of stock" and on a 1 to 2 month backorder. 1 to 2 month??? Maybe there's an import restrictions on China and everything is coming to the U.S. on boats!

They wanted to send me only one item on my order and for me to wait 1 to 2 months for the backordered item. No way... I asked to cancel my entire order.

After reading complaints here and in other social media sites, I expected that there was going to be a challenge to get my refund. My cancellation request went to a "review board"! WTF!!! They even billed my credit card before even picking or preparing my shipment. I knew this was going to be a problem so I reported this problem with PayPal and they contacted Cali Raised. I immediately received my refund.

After I received my refund I get an email from Jake Mottram and he stated that they mysteriously "pulled" one set of the backordered item and sending it to me immediately. I replied that no thank you I already reordered everything elsewhere. Again WTF!!! I won't be giving CaliRaisedOffroad any more of my business! I did reorder my MESO Minimalist Black Key Fob and Red Keys (buttons) directly from MESO Customs and my order was shipped on the same day! Go MESO Customs!

No more vendor games for me...
