An add a leaf will ride more harshly than a block in an unloaded truck.
A full leaf pack replacement will give you best ride by far.
6112s will also have a stiffer ride on small bumps when compared to factory suspension components due to them also being digressively valved.

What type of ride characteristics are you looking for exactly? Just about any combo of off the shelf "lift kits" combined with off-road tires will decrease the plushness of the ride quality. Typically, a firmer, but comfortable, ride is obtained following installation of any digressively valved aftermarket suspension.

If you're wanting a plush ride with your lift, you may have to get custom components made.

5100s all around here, the fronts were raised to the first notch (0.85") and the rear springs are assisted with Ride Rite adjustable air bags. I have them at 15 psi for daily driving and up to ~30 psi for heavy loads. No complaints on the shocks. I run Hankook DynaPro ATm 265/75-16 tires at 34 psi.

    ^^^ This.

Also, if you dont know the difference between Digressive and Progressive and Linear shocks just do some research. You should know what you are putting on your vehicle, and how it will affect it in what different ways from stock. You should not just buy the suspension you see most talked about as its bang for your buck option.

From my experience with wildpeaks, their sweet spot is 33-34 warm. 35 top.
After 35, all sorts of vibes, bounces, pulls come to life..
Try lower tire pressure and put a few bags of dirt. Should improve your ride.
