Rock guard solution = sliders w/ kickout?

So after my suspension/wheel/tire mods I added rek-gen flaps although the front portion of the bed wheel well/flair is still getting hammered with the road crap. I was thinking some sliders with kick out and filler plates might block the stuff being flung back from the front tires. I think the rek-gen's just don't hang low enough to block. Anyone else encounter this? Thoughts/suggestions?

 

Hard to tell what section this is a picture of? Did you get teh regular Rek gen version or the XL offroad wide version? The wide version is apparently 1" wider than standard so they will stick out more (not lower, but wider)

 

That is the front of the rear fender well of the bed. The small section in front of the rear wheel. There is a clear film protector on the paint although it and the flare are marred up now. I believe the debris is being kicked from the bottom not the sides. Like the flaps don't hang low enough. I did get some sliders and will see how much it helps.

 

Duh, got it. Somehow I missed the tire in the original picture! I was looking to the right, not the left.

What sliders did you get and do you like them? I am in the market, likely getting Cali-raised when they have their next sale. Debating between getting the filler plates or not (budget to manage).

 

I ended up grabbing a used set of C4 fabs sliders (link) and have only had them on for a week or so now. They were my fav design and glad I found them at great deal within local pick up range when I was visiting my daughter.

 

Nice. Now that I clicked on the link I realize I have looked at those, but damn they are expensive new! They aren;t even on my list to consider because of the $.

 

Yeah I live in Oregon and was going to pick up some from MetalTech so I didnt have to pay shipping but just so happened to stumble across those on FB marketplace...AND they were already powdercoated!
