Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

Since we had the pecan tree cut down in the back yard we have no afternoon shade, that's what she's after. We're out there on Sunday afternoons if it's not too cold, that's it cause we work 6 days a week. We have shade late in the evening but we're usually headed in for supper then.

 

My boy built one by himself. From plans. If I can find the pictures I’ll show you them tonight

 

The material costs may be a little shocking if you haven't priced out wood lately, I'm not sure what it's like where you're at but lumber prices are ridiculous here...

 

Yeah I've heard stories about plywood and such so I looked on Lowe's website for treated stuff, it'll be a lot but I don't think it'll be as much as buying one plus we can custom fit it.

Same here in Louisiana. I'm about to pay around 5k to build a 14' x 16' shed with metal roof. My dad and I are doing the labor. Maybe more, I heard hardy siding is about to go up 50% (my dad is a Carpenter and close with the owner of a big local lumber yard.)
