White Rim Trail is not difficult. Probably 2 out 10 and a stock 4x4 can get through without issues. Scenery is 11 out of 10!

Another awesome area is the Maze District of Canyonlands, but is about 6 out of 10 with some more technical sections. Good tires are a must and mild lift will help. Again, scenery 11 out 10. You need to make reservations with the Hans Flat ranger station but it is worth it and never full. The first day of driving for about 6 hours after the ranger station, we didn't see any other vehicle, not even a dust plume.

Hells Revenge in Moab sounds scary but really isn't too bad. A couple of steep climbs could scrape a rear hitch.

I'm a novice so it's hard for me to say. I use a book called guide to Moab by Charles Wells which I like because it ranks them in difficulty. He places it near the middle of the moderate trails. I have a stock TRD pro and it handled it very well. The only time I was uncomfortable was near the end (when going clockwise) where it goes near the river and had some water on the road in a few areas. I would recommend going in the Autumn and not going after it has rained recently. For recovery I only have a tow rope, shovel and some maxtrax and I would not like to get stuck in 2 feet of water without friends or a winch. It was seriously 90 miles of beauty. I plan on doing it again. I highly recommend it.

I'd love to get back down to Utah. Took a trip down there 4 years ago with the family for running the Paiute with our SxSs... Wife thinks driving 1.5 days each way to get down there is too much time with our limited amount of vacation per year :(

Did 400 miles in 4 days. 3 days Paiute, 1 day down at Coral Pink sand dunes.

We ran Hotel Rock and the Comb Ridge trails two weeks ago. Trailheads are about 20 minutes SW of Blanding.

Also ran La Sal Pass outside Moab as far as we could:

HR is a "hard" trail, but it was no real challenge when we ran it in our two-door JK on 37s. In the Tacoma, it was hard, but the challenge was a lot of fun! I've been greatly impressed by the truck, off road.

Just did some camping in some remote sites of the Henry mountains a couple weeks ago. The roads were especially rough though, much, much rougher than is normal for that area.

We poked around in between Panguitch Lake, Duck Creek Village, and Navajo Lake. If you Google Markagunt trail pdf, it's a pretty decent map of the roads. Nothing that challenging, but fun nonetheless.

Whoa, we recently came up to muddy creek, and after long debate decided to reverse rudder. This photo makes me feel good about my decision.

In my book, all UT locations are winners. Like the Ashley National Forest:
