I just got a set of Nerf Bars for my 2016 club-cab Tacoma - the bolts (all 24 of them) are all sized as M8x1,25 x 300mm hex.
However, while these work fine on the front body mounting, the Centre & Rear mountings are not very accommodating - I don't see why or how they would be any different, but having persuaded some of them into the body and using obviously too much torque I have now sheared one of the bolts!
Am I doing something wrong, or could they have a different thread? other than the 1.25??
