Many a time in the “will these tires fit” threads have I read the statement “every truck is different”. While I cannot deny that there might be minor differences between trucks and tires, I often wonder if there are greater differences between owners.

I like to think we’re all robots, and we chose the same truck because we’re all robots. But to each their own.

I was born with a lazy eye. I lost the hearing in my right ear . (service connected)

I like Tacomas, so I reckon we have something in common.

People have crazy definition of rubbing. Every tacoma is the same in this regard, some just chose to like or ignore the grinding noise.

If every truck were not different we would not need to provide a range for alignment specs because every caster would be exactly the same.
But they are not. Why you ask? It's because manufacturing tolerances.
Do me a favor... take a look under the hood and look at those little hood height rubber bumpers. They are adjustable too. There are many many places for adjustment on Tacomas.... because each are different.

If you have ever designed anything you would quickly realize no two of anything is the same because you have to allow for tolerances to fit. Then you shim lol.

When you design something down to the ten thousandth, it will cost a shitload to build and temperature will quickly change your tolerance.

This is why all Tacos are different lol.

My buddy and I have same trucks with same wheels and tires. My tires “touch” the front mud flaps(265/70/17), his do not. His is 19 OR DCSB in black, mine is 18 sport DCSB in black, trucks looks pretty much identical.

This is my Tacoma, There are many like it, but this one is mine.

My Tacoma is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.

Without me, my Tacoma is useless. Without my Tacoma , I am useless. I must drive my Tacoma true. I must drive straighter than my enemy who is driving a Jeep. I must pass him before he passes me. I will ...

My Tacoma and I know that what counts in traffic is not the horns we honk, the noise of our engine, nor the smoke we make. We know that it is the complements that count. We will smile...

My Tacoma is human, even as I [am human], because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weaknesses, its strength, its parts, its accessories, its tires and its wheels. I will keep my Tacoma clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other. We will ...

Before God, I swear this creed. My Tacoma and I are the defenders of my family. We are the masters of the road. We are the saviors of my life.

So be it, until victory is America's and there is no more Jeep’s, but peace!

Some people freak out about scratches on a truck and I've seen others take a new one through hedges to scratch them the first day.
