I just placed an on-line order for a gray ST to fit my ACLB. ;-) Whew! Glad that's over! Now for the over canopy rack. Might have to be a DIY, as I have yet to see anything that I like. The Rack MUST have a removable rear crossbar ! Just has to.

Did you maintain steering wheel controls and the OEM phone microphone and speakers?

Ok. I have a set of the Fuel assaults coming. 17 x 8.5 but with a +25 offset. I don’t plan on lifting the truck so I went with close to stock as I could, which is +30 offset.

I thought Arroyo Seco was a town in northern New Mexico? At least it was when my daughter lived there?

Four tailgates gone missing is a lot. I don't remember if Downey has Senior Lead Officers, but talk to him/her or the Watch Commander about getting extra patrols at night through your area. You may want to talk to the LT or Sargent in property crimes too. Make sure everyone that had a tailgate stolen reports it - if there's no report, it didn't happen.

My area goes through waves of battery or catalytic converter heists; I don't remember seeing any reports on tailgates and hope I don't.

The Maestro RR2 maintains the steering wheel controls but not the OEM microphone. I'm using the Kenwood mic and have it clipped near the speedo til I can get it to the OEM location.

    A bunch of shit...
Been here for 20+ years. She moved in after her dad died when she was in high school and she moved into this place. Her mom lives a few blocks away too, and I think that has a lot to do with it.

We did call and talk to them. They already have extra patrols due to all of the theft. We even hired private security for the neighborhood paid for by the HOA and it didn't help at all. These guys must be really fast.

Fire the privates. With a chop saw, converters can be cut off in less than a minute. Never timed a battery theft - some thieves steal a battery, keep track of the car, and steal the new replacement.

My first Toyota truck (an 85 xtra cab) was stolen for parts about 30 years ago in Industry. When I got the carcass back two days later (nothing more than the bed, cab frame, and four bald tires, with a vise grip in place of the steering wheel) I was amazed how neatly it had been taken it apart, except for one hanging bent tailgate support hinge.

You're looking for the ones made by @OneMoreToyota

I can’t find the thread about them, but he’s up north and only prints in the summer due to temperatures. Not sure if he’s going to be making them again, but the are definitely the best looking knobs out there. I painted the little insert to match my exterior along with my climate control ring inserts.

FWIW I looked at the picture before I read the caption, my eyes went to the red in the TRD Pro badge before they went to anything else
