Alright dudes so I’ve become OBSESSED over the concept of having a swingout carrier on a trail gear bumper. Ever since I had stumbled upon a post about it on another forum that I lurk around on I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I just ordered the trail gear front rock defense and battled back and forth between getting the matching rock defense rear, 4xinnovations rear, body armor rear, or the KO offroad/DV8 eBay all-pro replica. I ruled out the KO/DV8 because if having to order a separate hitch from all-pro and having to pay shipping on it and some of the other options. What sealed the deal for me is seeing this guys crazy lambo Mount on his addicted offroad bumper.....I’m not going to have that cool of a set up but He definitely inspired me to go all tubes!

I’ve also scored a homemade dual swing out off of a guy who had it mounted on his land cruiser using Tractor Supply Hitch Pins so this is what I’m working with/modifying

This dude has the closest design to what I’m after:

These guys had some interesting Collabs too

This is on a Marlin Crawler.....who I WISH would make a rear for a 2nd Gen Taco

The theme with a lot of these is that their all on OG 80s/90s 4-Runners and Im looking to do this with my 2010 Tacoma! The tail gate isn’t going to be an issue for me as I’ve removed mine and put a pro net on.

Let me know what you guys think! And how you would go about doing this all

I say black, it makes it easier to see scratches to touch up with paint before the rust starts. Plus, everything goes with black

So what color did you choose? How has the bumper performed since your install? still stoked about it? Any regrets? Added any lights? Thanks for your input...
