The TRD lift kit instructions has most of the torques you'll need in a small document.

Hey I hope I can ask this here - If not just please send me to a more appropriate thread. thx
What are some of the best Canadian retailers to purchase Tacoma stuff from? I have been looking for some proper weathertech (or similar mats), a tonneau (pronounced Tawn "oh" thank you) I like the idea of the Bak Revolver as it doesn't take up too much space when open with my bike standing up in the bed. It doesn't cover the back window and it has more security than a soft one. Holy expensive though! Also would like to change all front exterior lighting to LED - Don't like the soft yellow - that's for mood lighting not safety.
Oh and Would love to find a vintage gear shift knob (curvy). The one that was put on by the used dealer I bought from seems like it's from an Automatic. Has straight edges and is more rectangular. Hate it. Hurts my hands.
    Thx in advance!

I have previously purchased Weathertech mats from T-Dot performance, some people have had bad experiences but mine was good. For the Tacoma I'm using Gator mats, they are made by Husky and seems to be a little better quality (more rubbery) and cheaper.

Lighting I purchased all LED bubs from Amazon, like the ones in the 40$ range for the low/high beams, same for fogs, Interior and reverse lights. People will flash their high beams at you a lot after you make this change.

Low beam only pic (truck on a slight incline, cut off is slightly lower):

It's actually the opposite. Changing to led is generally worse than stock halogen and done only for appearance. It's less "safe" to have led bulbs in halogen reflectors and proper halogens are significantly brighter than LED. If you're going to do it, the cheaper you go, the worse it will be. You want to find an led that is as thin as it can be to more closely mimic a halogen filament. The thicker it is, the worse it will be. You shouldn't get flashed at all assuming your lights are properly aimed. Leave the high beams alone, they are already the best bulbs you can get and don't function as needed with LED bulbs

Or do it. I'm just a guy.

They appear to be the same as any of the $60-100 ones on Amazon. Which means you can get them about $20 cheaper. I've used a cheap set at least once so that's worth it already

IF you want to get nerdy about why LED arrays in place of a point source filament will always be worse on optics designed for a filament. Etendue - Wikipedia

Right now you can get some for $70 https://www.amazon.ca/OPENROAD-Reco...ywords=Recovery+boards&qid=1619186169&sr=8-13
and you can probably find cheaper boards.

there are enough traction boards out there and about 50 times that in opinions, so honestly just get something cheap - if you destroy them in the first go, Move up a slot in quality or just go straight to MaxxTrax/ ActionTrax

I would argue that, the halogens are trash. No way I trusted the stock halogens driving at night in deer country, The LEDs already saved me from a deer once.

    Pics in order:
    1. Low beam only
    2. Low beam/ stock high beam
    3. low/high again

Weathertechs you can buy in Burlington from the warehouse directly.
Tonnau cover i picked up from "Action Truck and Auto" in Hammertown. however the Back roller cover will impede the amount of accessible room in the bed as the unit itself sticks out a food from the back of the bed with space under it. I personally run a variant of the Bak Flip. and has done me good for a 5ft bed. Depending how you mount your bike it might fit. covering the back window doesn't mean much any more since backing up, out trucks have a backup camera.

Welcome to real life and modifying trucks. you're in a bad forum if you want to save money  We don't make you spend money, we just make you spend more of it on better stuff.

    LEDs? Amazoom.
shift nob? Amazoom. or steal one from a junk yard if you can find one.

You're free to argue that. And your personal taste is all that matters. The halogens will 100% outperform LED in all situations. And I still went with LEDs
