I finally jumped on this forum for a quick post as I was also deceived by Wyatt. There were always excuses and false pictures of the Atlas and Dynatrac that never order. He even told me his mother died. How crooked do you have to be to lie that tell people that your mother died. I'm out over $28K in direct payments to him, plus about $5K in parts that I took him that he stole or sold, plus all of the OE drivetrain and suspension. I have decided not to continue with the build and sell the vehicle. I'm the original owner of a 2003 4th Gen 4Runner Limited, V8 WITH the TRD 4.7L Supercharger and TRD piggyback ECU. TRD only made 350 of the 4.7L superchargers before they discontinued them. I'll be posting it for sale in a couple of weeks on FB marketplace, Craigslist Denver, T4R forum, and others. The body is in great condition and is sitting on a brand new frame and brand new body mounts.
Wyatt (and maybe Alana) deserve to go to jail. This is a clear case of fraud and theft. That won't happen until more people take action. My next post will be how you can take action as a victim.

 

Action #1: File a complaint with the Attorney General.
This takes maybe 5 minutes. The AG probably will not take action unless a bunch of people file complaints.

I used his home address since that is on the company registration and his current cell phone.

Below is what I put in the comments section.
"I'm accusing Wyatt A. Scott of Rock Solid Toys with auto theft and fraud. I have paid him over $28,000 for parts that he never ordered and labor not completed. I have confirmed with three vendors that he never ordered the parts that I paid him to order and install. He also stole other parts that I brought to him and stole the OE parts from my vehicle. I made payments to him in March, April, and May of 2020. Out of pocket costs are over $35,000 and my vehicle has no drivetrain from the transfer case back and will be totaled by the insurance company. I have a signed contract dated May 6, 2020 that he did not upheld nor perform the scope of work. He is non-response to text or phone calls. His wife works in HR at the Crown Ace Hardware at 9045 Adams Ave, Huntington Beach, CA. Her phone is 714-962-4160 ext 109. Her name is on the business registration that was filed on Aug 19, 2011. I seek to obtain my out of pocket costs back, treble damages, and have him arrested and prosecuted for fraud."

 

Action #2: File a civil lawsuit

Hi Everyone,
I received a letter from the Attorney General finally in California. I forgot to take a picture of it before I left town. I will when I return next week. BOTTOM LINE: They basically state that they will look into it when multiple people complain. Again, I'll post the exact verbiage next week.
So, if you have been scammed by Wyatt, please fill out that form for the Attorney General. It's quick, easy to do, and free. Wyatt needs to be brought to justice. Who knows what the AG will actually do. We need everyone's help to get the AG to take action. See post #541 for instructions and web link.

Any updates? I have more problems with my truck from Wyatt’s inability to built a functioning truck.

 

I filed with the AG’s Office as well as the FBI.

No word from them to date.

speaking of, when we’d get these types on pirate the thread would have heaps of posts with the offenders name and addresses so that when others searched for them they’d see what kind of person they really are as that thread would usually be the first ten or so hit on the search engine results.

I got my letter back in the mail this week. I filed mine about 2 weeks ago. So the return was quick.

The State AG is unlikely to pursue this case. Your best chance for prosecution will be to file a report with the Orange County District Attorney.

There is strength in numbers, especially for local SoCal victims of this fraudulent behavior.
