Im checking to see if anyone has the best way to clean TRD rims. I like to clean my truck often so they never get that dirty in the first place. But I know if you don't dry them off after then they end up getting dark specks on them until you clean and dry them the next time.

Any good car wash is good. I always blow my wheels dry with a compressor or even the yard blower. Then finish dry with a good microfiber cloth.

@gotoman1969 yea that’s what I’ve heard was best. The first time I cleaned then I used the blower haha. But if I use the car wash then if I dry them right after they turn out really nice. So you use any wheel cleaner every once in a while for the brake dust or just a few clean?

I do not use a wheel cleaner. I just clean my wheels on a regular basis. But if you do use a wheel/tire cleaner just make sure it’s non-acidic wheel safe.

I mix up Simple Green with Dawn dishwasher soap and water. Scrub each wheel well using this solution and various toilet or bottle brushes which fit inside the crevices. Also use a lug nut brush to clean/scrub around each lug nut.

Then rinse well with a pressure washer and spray Turtle Wax Ceramic, let it sit and then rub in. Turns out a rich matte black.

For an even stronger cleaning solution add some distilled white vinegar to the cleaning solution.
