Please help me out. I just turned 60. Looking for a brighter headlight upgrade for my 2015 Tacoma. Hoping to keep it under $300 because I am getting married soon.

    Suggestions?

Unfortunately you’re not going to be able to do LED or HID headlight upgrades properly under $300. What @outxider linked is going to be your best bet to increase light output for your budget.

LED's in Tacoma housings make for mega glare, you will get flashed every day. Upgrade with standard high output bulbs, not LED.

as stated above, no viable LED options that will net you the same quality light output

You can buy one of the aftermarket replacements, but those are all worse light output, or a poor beam pattern.

Your best bet for an aftermarket LED option would be the morimoto headlights that are supposed to be coming out soon, but those will likely be in the range of $1000+

You could put projectordriving lamps instead of fogs but aiming is even more critical since they sit lower. I’m 62 and oncoming glare pisses me off way more than lighting that’s better than when we started driving. Leds don’t focus properly in housings made for incandescents.

Thank you-I work with some gifted truck mechanics. My Tacoma just hit 100K. Going to dig deeper and get a nice upgrade for the long haul.
