I guess he did. To each their own. .25” probably wouldn’t hurt a thing, I’m just weird.

:bananadance: Did a&a run a smaller diameter pipe on yours, or you haven't noticed either way?

Another recommendation for AA. They do great work and are the nicest of people. Price is really reasonable as well!

Nicest bunch of folks you'll ever meet. In and out in under an hour and was reasonably priced.

Will AA use stainless tube if you request it?

For any Southern California people, just got my reroute done at:
    Plaza muffler & trailer
    125 N Pixley St
    Orange CA 92868

Spoke with Carl who said they’ve done a lot of them. Took all of 45 minutes and they only charged me $103 with tax.

Looks pretty clean in my opinion.

I'm going to print this out and take it to every local muffler shop because it's almost exactly what I want. The only thing I'd add is a heat shield where it passes by the transfer case actuator, but I'm probably just paranoid. Thanks for sharing

Yep. I'm getting mine done up at AA in Denver tomorrow. Probably could have found someone here in the Springs to do it but enough of you guys recommended them that I don't mind making the trip up for that level of service.

Just got back from AA Performance for my reroute. Everyone said they were nice, but wow. Solid folks who enjoy doing quality work.

This is my 2nd gen - 2013 tacoma. So not quite a 3rd gen, but these guys did the same job.

$200 for 40 minutes of work? Yah, but look at it! it's beautiful!
(EDIT: To be clear, this is easily $200 worth of work that I was happy to pay for. It's high quality, skilled, practiced labor. Well worth the price for the result.)

EDIT: Just got my whole skidplate package installed. The re-route clears with plenty of room. I am happy to not have that huge bumpout like most skidplates have.

Also installed RCIs new catalytic converter shields, it would be a huge challenge to cut them out now.

You’re not paying for the 40 minutes of work. You’re paying for the years it took them to learn how to do it right in 40 minutes.

That’s what I tell my consulting clients that think they’re overpaying because it doesn’t take me that long to do something.

I fully agree, thus my comment about how beautiful it is.

Another nod to Scott at A A Performance Muffler & Brakes in Englewood, CO! We live in Dallas but worked things out on our CO trip to get the exhaust reroute done and full RCI skid plates with the catalytic converter protection installed by RCI in Loveland, CO.

Both places do wonderful work and provide a quality product!
