I find that really hard to believe. Even an integrated solution like an extension to a fixed hub would be acceptable. The space is definitely there.

Did you uninstall the oem outlet and run it through or just run a pigtail to another installed outlet on the decked? I'm really interested in this system but want convenience to access the outlet as needed.

I am wondering about the advantages and disadvantages to installing DECKED on top of the OEM Bed Mat.

I suppose the drawers would not roll/slide as easily, but could it reduce vibration, wear and tear on the bed, dust/water issues, etc? Any reason this is a better build than going directly on the composite bed material?

I am hoping to get it right the first time and not have to uninstall and reinstall DECKED system to remove the mat.

    Really curious...

I installed the DECKED on my bed mat and it was okay for awhile...But I removed it because I did not want water and dirt to get under the mat so it would be much easier to keep clean...I also drilled out the holes in front of the bed a little wider to drain the water better when I rinse it out...The bed mat now makes a great entrance to the inside one of my sheds...The drawers do not roll on or touch the bed mat or the bed.

Huh? Is it true that the drawers don’t touch the bed? I thought they had wheels that rolled on the bed/mat. Can someone confirm?

They have wheels but they are mounted on the frame of the DECKED and keep the drawers off the bed...The drawers are too heavy and bulky so I removed them for more space under the platform and less weight...See my posts above or on the previous pages...They should make a DECKED without drawers and have ammo boxes with access to your cubbies and electric box, that is why I had mine cut.

Hey gang...looking for any examples from folks that have figured out a solution for running a 12-volt fridge on the Decked system...specifically, ideas or solutions for a tilting slide? We love our DECKED system, and we also love our new fridge for overlanding with....but we need a step-stool to be able to see into and access the fridge because of the added height from the DECKED system. They make some tilting slides but they are SO expensive! Anyone figured out a DIY tilting fridge slide option that works on the DECKED system?

Does anyone know if there is a difference between part number MT5 and MT7? Guy selling a new kit locally part MT5. On their website my 2021 tacoma is part MT7. Year 2005-2018 and year 2019+. Only thing that change is the side cubby? Trying to see if I can snag this MT5 kit for my 21 SB instead of buying a new one. @DECKEDUSA

Odd question, has anyone ran a 5’ decked in a 6’ bed. The spacing is the same from the wheel back. And it would give you an extra 1’ toward the front for items that can be left out like firewood bundles, MTB wheels etc.

Has anyone installed this system with a mid-height bed rack? Wondering if there would be enough space for a tire or ice chest with the uptop truss rack.

There’s been a few. Just that Decked won’t officially support it. guys use that space for the spare or mount other bulky items.

I am really getting close on pulling the trigger on a Decked System + RSI Cap combo. I am not sure if it had been posted, but I have a feeling that the decked system might cover the only light source in the bed. However, the installer here in Pa might be able to add lighting inside the bed once I get the chance to talk to them further. Liking the Decked System more and more.

@DECKEDUSA I went through the whole thread as I am pretty excited about ordering your system. My only hold up is wondering if I could still haul a dirt bike. Your website shows a pic of bikes in the back of the bed, but I was not sure how feasible that was.

Anyone else have experience hauling dirt bikes on their decked? this is the pic in question.

That would be sweet. Unfortunately a few pages back he said that they are pretty strict about their pricing, with it set to a MAP across all retailers
