Running boards

If I’m looking at rough country nerf bars. I found one for sale near me but it’s for a short bed I have long bed it says it won’t fit but seems the cabs are the same length would the running boards work or not? Thank you

 

The mounting holes for running boards are the same on all double cabs so I think you should be fine

 

They should work.

However, boards that don't extend fender to fender look weird to me. Your opinion might differ.

 

Wheelbase on a double cab long bed is greater than on a double cab short bed. Can't speak to the mounting holes though.

 

Do running boards from a 2018 DCSB fit 05 to 2020?

 

What I can say is that all access cab from 2006 to now can use the same running boards because the holes line up the same. The same for the double cab short beds. I know because I bought oem running boards for a 2006 access cab that were taken off a day after purchase and it fit my truck perfectly.

 

I have a DCLB and sold my running boards to a guy with a DCSB. He had them mounted before he left the parking lot where we met.
