I use cordless more than my air anymore at the shop just the fact of not having an air line as a tripping hazard is all I need to justify my cordless addiction

 

Not to mention that noisy fucker turning on when you least expect it.

I think I'm at about the 50% rate. Can't beat the pnumatic ugga duggas for removing suspension component fasteners.
Voltage is a dream for installing. I'm in love with my 1/4" hex drive.

The air needle scaler is an amazing tool for rust removal. Not sure if there is a DC equivalent.

 

Which scaler you use?

 

I got mine at Harbor freight. Not sure if they have more than one.

The thing is just amazing!

 

My Dewalt impact throws a beating on my pneumatic impact. In fact I don’t think I’ve used my air gun since I got the Dewalt

 

I love my HF scaler for knocking welding slag off after stick or flux core welding.

 

I keep waiting on Bluetooth 220v for the welder and plasma...fucking hate tripping over the power/ground/tool cable

Im almost exclusively cordless Dewalt/Milwaukee because until last year I’ve always been in rentals and never owned a large air compressor until we bought the house

Picked these up the other night for 80 bucks. The one picture right is a runner. The one on the left is a parts machine.
Came with some accessories.

And the first of my Lawn Boy collection, the Mag 19. My favorite, but unfortunately not running at the moment. Hope to remedy that soon.

 

Growing up mowing with a LawnBoy you learn things about 2strokes, some good, some scary.

I learned that when mowing a hill, you side hill with the bag on the UPHILL side when possible. The weight of the grass (we had thick grass) would cause the mower to roll over when bag was almost full, and it did on my sister once..... and it stayed running...upside down.....

it was fun to deal with....after the fact....

 

Yeah, I used the bag on the Mag 19 a few times on my septic field. Made sure to always keep the bag on the up hill side. Found that discoloured deck plate on eBay, which put an end to my bagging days. I'll be removing the bag chute on the latest one before using it. Having another snow day in Calgary, but it warms up next week. Maybe things will start turning green here soon.

 

I had it for a few years. It's more than paid for itself. A 60 inch mower, and 45 inch snow blower. It's used year around.

 

The Cordless tools are handy. Mighty capable too. But just like any other battery the Cold kicks the crap outta them. Still a lotta love for all my Air stuff.
