Nicked wire

I apparently got to close to a wire while grinding today and of course it’s not just a simple wire. What am I dealing with? And ideas on how to fix it?
Wires run out of a loom top driver side of the engine down behind the coil bucket and splits into 2 different looms. Wire looks to be a “shielded” type with outer insulation(blue), conductor, inner insulation (white), conductor. Any help would be appreciated.

 

I'd probably cut out the damage, splice it back together with a crimp barrel splice, and cover with rigid glue lined shrink (SCL).

 

I was going to just crimp it back together but with what seems to be a double layer wire I don’t think it’s that easy

 

Slit the blue lengthwise far enuf to get the center out. Tape up the center wire and put it back inside then straighten the cut wires around it and seal up the blue outer sheath....

 

Ok thanks that’s what I was thinking.
Can’t be any harder than making up a primary distribution splice.
