    Big WOOT. Could have gone with better weather but it was just good to get out and I didn't have any problems - truck and camper were both perfect and other than forgetting to pack my rain jacket (didn't even think about it because I thought I left it IN the camper last year) I had everything I needed. But it only rained for maybe 20 minutes while I was out and I did have an umbrella so I was good. Rained like heck on the drive home though!

    Animals? Just some muskrats who were having a diving competition in the creek behind me...dead silence then KER-PLUNK!!! And a lone/lost Canada goose who was flying up and down the valley honking insessantly. I was in Bannack State Park - not a lot of animals down there but I like walking through the old buildings. Its better in the off season when its almost deserted

    sometimes there are deer in that area. not sure about moose as i've never seen one there. i just like the ghost town and its paved roads up to the last mile so access is guaranteed. it gets so busy in the summer that i avoid it then, the quiet shoulder seasons are best.
