Negative. It was about 200ft away from the dam, and would require me to go across about 6ft deep water.

boss wasn’t keen on it. I know he’s gonna fix it before the days over, issue was the rain we had caused flooding on a major road way. And no one else wanted to do what really needs to be done. Which is call a trapper to relocate.

The truck is washed and shiny for now. My wife is on her way home from work and hers is next.

I’ll come from CLE and you can wash mine. Water here has so much chlorine that it dries to a spotted finish.

I think Army Green and Quicksand are the best colors they have offered on these trucks

I have a well which is good, since there is no chlorine in my water. On the other hand, I have to watch the water usage although I have never run the well dry in nearly 30 years, thank God.

Since I no longer work, I have the time. It's just a matter of getting motivated. So far so good in cleaning the truck on a regular basis after almost 6 months. We will see how motivated I am 6 months from now. :)

I'm gonna pressure wash the underside so I can repaint the sliders for the 8th time or so..

Beyond that ain't no point to washing anything but the windows.

News is in on the Amocat.

it would appear... that the gauge is simply broken. By a 1/4 of a tank.

I am in the habit of never trusting fuel gauges .

    At least it was simple.

Your not the first or going to be the last to run out of fuel because a bad sending unit.

Are you going to replace it or just live with it?

I'm with you on that. I know how many miles I should get per tank and if things start looking fucky I get gas.

    I’d like to replace it...
I typically do not either because of work trucks never being 100% on anything and well... Ford.

I also lost track of my miles because I usually do the same. Gauge vs miles. But rotating the truck and chiefs car I lost track (shame on me).

If it’s simple and easy I’ll swap for a new one hopefully.

With my wife and I working together, her Rav4 washed up much more quickly. She is a perfectionist though so I left some of the detail work to her.

Nice, another undocumented feature. Now I see why they have two trip gauges, looks like one of mine will be dedicated to getting zeroed when filling up.
I seldom have misfortune find me during the day, when it is both dry and mild outside, within cell phone coverage, on a paved, moderately level surface.
Currently wondering if easier to drop the tank or raise the bed.

Washed mine today as well. We'll see how often it gets washed. Although they do look good when they are clean.
