I know I don't have a Tacoma, but I got some raptor lights for my 2021 Toyota Camry. I figured that probably nobody has done this before (lol), but I was wondering if anybody might be able to help me.

I used the included fuse tapper and tapped into the DRL fuse as a video I watched stated to do. But the lights stay on when the car is off and the headlights are switched off. Is that normal? Is there another fuse that I could possibly tap into to have them switch off when the vehicle is off. I know that it's defiantly different than a Tacoma so I have been improvising and using the knowledge from other people's tutorials.

If it's supposed to do this then that's cool, I just don't want to wake up to a dead battery on a brand new car because the lights drained it. Thank you in advance!

Camry?! damn. Would like to see pics

also, might want to use headlight low beam add a fuse. Not sure how the Camry wiring is supposed to be but probably different from the tacoma. Only comes on when the low beams are activated but the will turn off. Yeah, don't leave them on

Most taco installers just splice into the parking light or DRL wire of the headlight itself.

Toyota's labeled fuses often aren't only for the thing they're labelled for, which can mean they may or may not be counterintuitively "always hot". You'd have to get a multimeter and find a fuse that is cold when off and hot when on.

Edit: @Tacospike 's DRL suggestion is a good one, but you'd only have them when your headlights are on.

I appreciate it, the car is the nightshade edition, so it’s blacked out from the factory, so I thought the blacked out lights would be neat.
