I’ve come down to these two kits for my truck. It will primarily be a pavement princess but some off-roading will be done. Being put on a 2021 TRD OR.

    1. Bilstein 5100s with block in rear

    2. Eibach Pro stage 1 coilovers with rear Block

Guy at off road shop is saying he hasn’t installed many Eibach kits on these trucks but “the one he rode in rode worse than stock”

I should also add that I had 5100s on my tacoma and I thought they were a tad stiff for street driving.. input about Eibach coilover ride quality would be greatly appreciated

Have the eibachs. Think they ride great. There is a big thread on them here.

I got my Eibach Pro kit installed last Monday. I did an Icon AAL in the back and I would say that it rides much better than stock. I also go the ECGS bushing done at the same time, but the vibrations after a lift in a Taco is a common thing regardless of what brand lift it is.

Eibach is the way to go

Went with Eibach after calling and talking to them. The installer I’m using placed the order and said they’re estimated to arrive June 29th?!? Anyone ordered them recently and gotten any sooner?

That sounds about right, I think Headstrong Offroad was getting a shipment in earlier. Should reach out to them.

    none at this time.
I originally wanted to go with the Eibach kit but since they were out of stock I went with the old man emu essential lift kit and they ride great. absolutely no complaints I am glad I went with them. The ride is smooth on paved roads.

Whatever you like go for it. You like digressive shocks. No complaints with 5100’s or eibach.

I called Eibach and the guy said there’s 100+ kits kitting the shelves this week but they have a 300+ backorder so those 100 will never see the shelves they’ll just be shipped directly. He said they have a shortage on some special metal that’s placed inside the coil spring which is causing the backorders. He predicts it won’t take till the end of June to get mine in though.

I'm running 5100's with Eibach springs up front and icon 3leaf w/ 5160's in the rear. 5100's are a digressive shock, they are stiff on small bumps but I think they still ride better than the stock Hitachi shocks that came on it. I'm happy with the ride using the Eibach springs for lift instead of preload on the stock springs.
