Hey Everybody, I’m hoping somebody with better ears than I can figure out this noise. It sound to me like metal to metal contact coming from the drivers side wheel well. This really only happens in 4WD going over uneven surfaces. It is not rocks hitting the bottom of the vehicle. Here’s a video that I captured. It’s not so much clicking but more like rattling.

    I have a 2017 TRD OR 4WD stock suspension.

    Yep, just wind...

Edit: after watching the vid again I hear that metal on metal pinging/tapping noise now... I like the body mount idea (or radiator mounts).

I have the same ‘tin’ sounding noise in the same location. It could be a heat shield hitting metal. I haven’t ruled out that it’s my skid plate being loose.

It’s definitely like a tin can type of noise. My skid plate seems right, but maybe I’ll check.

I was going to suggest the cab mount, but not if it's only in 4WD. Might want to check though.

Hmmm it’s close. That sounds more like ticking and mine is more like a tin can bouncing around.

Yeah it’s definitely weird either way and I haven’t been able to solve it. Do you only hear yours when you’re accelerating?

As far as I can tell, mine seems to be in 4WD only going over roughish terrain. On gravel/pebble roads I hear it off and on.

Still having the issue. Maybe loose break pads. Will update.
