I was parked near the nuclear power plant for a few hours and when I came back, this stick insect was eating the paint off my aluminum wheels.

Would steel wheels be more durable and less tasty?

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.

I got sick of OEM wheel finishes giving up on my 06 and went steel with beauty rings. Quick shot of semigloss black once in a while for 'brand new wheels'. They can be had for around $50/wheel. Shipping is what makes or breaks a deal on them.

Nuclear power plant? It wasn’t eating. It was gathering nesting material. Big battle with Godzilla next month.
