Just checked this morning and the used dealer I bought my '20 TRD OR from has 11 Tacomas in stock. What he tells me he can't keep on the lot are Tundras. They had 1 in stock, 2019 Crew Max TRD OR 4x4 with 30K miles and asking $53K for it.........

All valid points, however I have three other trucks, although my Taco is my only 4wd and is the newest. The thought of trading for a Supra was one of those late-night "Hey,that would be fun!" thoughts which thankfully passed a couple of days later LOL!

I get that, there are probably some people who want to get a Tundra before the new model is released, especially since it sounds like the next gen Tundra won't have a V8. That's a deal-breaker for some.

Tundras have always been more scarce that Tacomas, at least in my region. I was more stunned at the asking price than the demand. That being said, this is the same dealer I traded a 2017 F250 for my Tacoma and they sold it for $1K more than I paid for it, brand new.

The dealer up here had 8 on the lot last Saturday, 3 army green 2dcsb, 1dclb. It had the most green ones I've seen on a lot at time. I believe the long box was a pro.

Dealer near me lists my exact model / color / etc so for fun I Emailed for the 'Internet Price' and asked what is the true OUT-THE-DOOR price.
His out-the-door price was $3.5k over what I paid.. when it comes in that is... and that doesn't include additional warranty that I paid for last month.
I suspect by the end of the year with the continuing chip-shortage you'll see another 5-10k added to these.

Agreed. A co-worker just picked up a Sport 4 door from the same dealership as me couple of weeks ago he paid $500 under mrsp they wouldn't budge on price. I got a fairly good discount back in January.
