    I have something in the 'pipe' line already ;) . I may have hinted at what it is previously but still too early.


    You guys really got me thinking about this one. I need to think this one through a bit more to be able to produce something good and at a reasonable value. Cutting 32-33" discs is really poor yield in sheet.

    GROUP BUY UPDATE

    For those that have paid already - partial refunds have been issued to adjust form the 12% to 17% discount level

    For those that were invoiced but not paid -     Revised invoices reflecting the 17% discount have been sent out.

    For anyone that have joined after the 30+/ 17% price break - you should have received an invoice that is accurate for this discount now.

    Let me know if there are any questions or if there are any issues. I apologize in advance if there are any bugs in the whole process as this is literally a first run through with store, payment processing, etc....

    Production Update - 2021_04_28 - FAI (first article inspection) was completed for the tailgate panels and stock should be cut by the end of the week. This was a great opportunity as we were able to catch some minor issues with material quality acceptance and some millimeter level changes to work with the CNC toolpaths better. (some insta CNC action below)

    As I mentioned there was some QA issues with the material. This is not affecting the quality of the parts but is significantly impacting the part yield. As such I will not be able to fulfill all first round members in this first production run. I know everyone has different priorities so I am making a call for first round volunteers (#1-38 tagged below) to be part of the second round of production. I do not know the exact number I need until cutting is complete but will be in the ~14 person range. Second round production timelines are currently being worked on but anticipated to be 3-5wk (material vendor driven). In the event that there are not enough volunteers, orders for first round will be fulfilled in priority of the members list. Members affected by this are copied below.     perhaps there should be an option for a buyer to accept the defective product at a reduced price? some of us (the number may surprise you) may not own show ponies and a few surface scratches wouldn't matter when cords of wood are going to be dragged on them :rofl:

    Due to the nature of the defect, its not possible. The parts per sheet had to be reduced to use the good areas, otherwise I would end up with more bad product than good. The severity of the defect would also be unpredictable.
