Nothing yet. Stock besides some really nice all-terrain tires.
Gents, anybody know a reliable, and affordable place to get some work done in San Diego, CA? Pretty new to modifying my truck and want to start putting some new wheels, lights, grill, and sidestep bars.

I would much rather do it myself, but not too confident in my mechanic skills, would definitely need some guidance or help with that.

+1 on this... most of what you've listed can be done by yourself even if you aren't super confident in your mechanical abilities.

    - Grill is super easy
    - Lights, i would now suggest the "Ultimate Headlight Mod" now that i've done it myself, way better than stock
    - Sidesteps, if not true sliders i'm sure aren't too hard to do by yourself. Even bolt on sliders can be done solo and they probably weigh way more than sidesteps
    - Wheels/tires are done at a tire shop (+1 for Discount Tire or Costco)

I wouldn't consider myself super mechanical but i have done almost all my mods myself. You get to learn something new, improve your skills and take pride in the fact that YOU did it. Nothing wrong with a shop, i take my truck in for things out of my abilities but i also try to at least do most of the stuff myself.

For a shop rec in San Diego... try Toyota Lexus Care (TLC) in Kearny Mesa.

    no

"shop" means building that pays a competent mechanic under $20 an hour to perform work.
Then they charge the customer 3 hours to perform a 1 hour job,
and order the part on IMC at shop pricing ($50) then upcharge to $200 dealer price.
But charges the customer $100 per labor hour minimum,
to buy "owner" third house. The guy who does the talking and not the work. The one sitting in chair with feet kicked up
or as they call it, "have to pay the shop monthly rent"
