Ouch, ouch, ouch. My old Chevy was almost totaled due to hail damage. Took the check, kept on driving. Over the next 10 years, the Texas heat/cold cycles worked out almost all the dents!

Go onto Carvana and get a price for "what will you pay for this vehicle" and screen capture. Prices are insane.

I took hail damage. State Farm is so backed up I'm still waiting to hear from the adjuster, most of mine to hood/roof/RSI Smart Cap. Two months old. :(

I had 2 cars that got about 4k in hail damage each a few years back. I too took the checks and let the cars be, most of the dents on the rav4 worked their way out, the dents on the kia soul I didnt care about as it was a lease, and the lease paperwork said dents under 1 inch will not be considered damage when I turn it in.... so I turned it in covered with dents and showed them what I signed. They took the car and didnt charge me for them.

But now I cover my truck with moving blankets and a car cover when it storms, but will be ordering one of those inflatable hail car covers soon.

BAM Wholesale Parts for $355 USD. Shipping was another $25. It came with the red lettering, I swapped them with the black ones from Tufskinz, they have colors to match probably any Tacoma paint.

We had marble sized hail here last week. Couldnt get my truck in the garage, so I ran out throwing moving blankets over the truck, getting pelted in the head by chunks of hail. Can't imagine doing that with the size of hail you got. Damn.

Call your insurance and PDR specialist ASAP. the soon you get an appointment the better. The longer you wait your going to be waiting months because the appointments will fill up quick. Happened in my area and people were waiting up to a year to get there cars PDR. I got mine done the same week since I called the minute it happened.

You took the words right from my mouth! Not that I like seeing people lose their livelihood in wildfires or anything, but ya, seriously...

Just got my TRD Pro skid plate today. Took about an hour to put on, had to modify the front to fit. I have the CBI push bar and was told by CBI it would fit… it did after I cut about 2” off the skid plate. No worries, I’d rather modify than just bolt on… no fun in that!!

    Nice!

That looks like Cooper AT3’s on Pro wheels? What size tires? Did you already post this somewhere?

Just got my TRD Pro rims back from powder coat. Pretty disappointed with their color match and sheen match on the center caps, but after applying vinyl to them it's harder to tell. For $2,100 you'd think they'd have tried a bit harder... :notsure:

Side note: if anyone wants custom vinyl letters for their TRD rims, let me know, these fit very well (I stole the vector from some Toyota marketing materials.)
