Call your insurance and PDR specialist ASAP. the soon you get an appointment the better. The longer you wait your going to be waiting months because the appointments will fill up quick. Happened in my area and people were waiting up to a year to get there cars PDR. I got mine done the same week since I called the minute it happened.

You took the words right from my mouth! Not that I like seeing people lose their livelihood in wildfires or anything, but ya, seriously...

Just got my TRD Pro skid plate today. Took about an hour to put on, had to modify the front to fit. I have the CBI push bar and was told by CBI it would fit… it did after I cut about 2” off the skid plate. No worries, I’d rather modify than just bolt on… no fun in that!!

    Nice!

That looks like Cooper AT3’s on Pro wheels? What size tires? Did you already post this somewhere?

Just got my TRD Pro rims back from powder coat. Pretty disappointed with their color match and sheen match on the center caps, but after applying vinyl to them it's harder to tell. For $2,100 you'd think they'd have tried a bit harder... :notsure:

Side note: if anyone wants custom vinyl letters for their TRD rims, let me know, these fit very well (I stole the vector from some Toyota marketing materials.)

Installed my new Hooke Road tailgate panel today. Painless and quick install. Also used the original screws like Tacosrus did--no problemo. Also had to remove the two rubber bumpers. This panel fits really well, and has a textured finish. Really nice for $100 less than a similar Mountain Hatch panel. My butt felt real good on it.

$2100? I just got some done for $450 in Olympia. Does it have gold flakes in it or something? That's insane!

It might not cost that much, but options here are limited and this place "specializes" in wheels. These guys were more per wheel but said they'd color match the center caps which was cool --but turned out with subpar (IMO) results.

If I'd gone to a place that does nothing but powdercoat whatever all day every day I could've gotten away closer to $1,500. Since I'm ordering new gloss gray and black center caps off the internet to see what looks best, it's looking like I could've saved myself some money and gotten a better result. Oh well, live and learn (expensive lessons... constantly...)

Ugh, now I'm feeling like more and more of a sucker...

It was five wheels and included media blast, but man was it expensive. Between the original cost of the rims, powder coat, and tires these are gonna end up being like 65% the cost of a supercharger. :annoyed:

    20210429_143618.jpg

Me either, my dude. They're gonna end up on a Voodoo truck, but I've gotta wait til' ~September for the OME BP51 to show up so it can accept chunkier tires.

C4 Fab Hybrid/bull bar front bumper with their frame supports, Hawse license plate holder, Baja Designs Sport fogs lights and Smittybuilt X2O Comp 10k lbs winch which needed zero modification to fit this bumper. I hear that's not always the case. I did all the prep work, primer and paint myself which came out better than expected.

Not only do I like this setup, C4 came by the house to help me remove the bumper, mount the winch and reinstall the bumper. Big cheers to Eric and Brian at C4 Fab for the outstanding customer service. The guys at Smittybuilt and BD were pretty helpful in answering all my questions too.

It's taken awhile to wrap up the project but it's been well worth the wait. Local trails open 5/15, I've loaded up the Avenza Maps and I've met the good people from the area 4x4 clubs. It won't be long now.
