Warfare does (or should) have morality and ethics; Exploiting a tactical advantage is NOT unethical or immoral. If you can catch the enemy napping (literally) that's a bonus, and perfectly appropriate. Massacring them in their sleep? That would be unethical/immoral. Shooting down an enemy aircraft? Ethical & moral. Strafing the pilot who has ejected? Immoral and unethical.
