It's like 1/3 the price of redline. I know it's not 75W-85 but it's the same weight and probably protects better. Anyone think this is a bad move?

You get what you pay for. Subscribe to Amsoil. Much easier decision making :D, you get 25% off when you subscribe.

    cost $10.00

Also, 75w-90 is fine. I’ve run it with 4.88’s for some time. (Mobile 1).
However, switching to 75w-110 next oil change. I tow a lot

Super tech will be just fine. It’s only diff fluid. Just make sure to change it every few years and you’re good.

    Oh no!!!!

I run Valvoline Syn 75w90 in my diffs and Xfer case.

Truthfully, if the lube meets the API specification and viscosity grade as stated in the Owner's Manual, then all will be fine.

Buying more $$$ stuff mainly just lightens your wallet and gives you warm fuzzy.

I used it in my 16 and was in there for years and worked fine. Just did it the other day on my 21 after it's break in period. It works great and cheap.

Toyota is over $40 a quart, Redline is like $19. This Super tech is $7.24/ qt. So 6 qts can cost me like $120 for Redline or like $45 for the cheaper stuff. Looking to see if anyone had any bad experience with this stuff.

Yes. I also use super tech for my engine oil in all our vehicles. Zero issues.

I use Ravenol for the t-case, that’s the only thinf that doesn’t get super tech oil.

Her GX 460 and my GX 470 also get the same treatment.

Super tech engine oil and diff oil in the taco and t4r. Ravenol for the t case as @SearArtist mentioned above. Tacos got 40k, t4r has 60k. Been rolling like clocks. Have no issues using super tech with scheduled maintenance intervals at all.
