    So on my way home I ended up running over a dead porcupine, due to oncoming traffic and no shoulder. Oddly, my truck got quieter, and then when I stopped at a gas station I found quills on the tailgate and bumper. How the hell... and the exhaust is quieter because it separated what was left of the spring bolts at the header collector flange.     So far, so good!

    I've used it for two 2 hour cooks for pork chops and once to try to sear chicken breasts after a sous vide bath. It doesn't sear as well as the propane grill, though.

    I'm smoking a 7-8 pound pork butt tomorrow for carnitas. :D
