I'm looking for a recommendation for a Roof Rack. I'd like to support the maximum load I can. I have an ARE camper shell that supports 300lbs. I'm thinking if I get a rack that spans both the camper shell and the cab I can distribute weight across both the camper shell and cab and handle more weight. This is a 2006 doublecab with a 6 foot bed. I'd like to be able to add to it later and do things like add a tent, but it doesn't need to have a tent now. Just needs to be well built and such that it can support as much weight as I can. In the short term I plan to try to put the largest / longest cargo box I can on it to help with a move. Thanks for your recommendations

Kind of pricey, but this design seems to be most popular. Whether its by Victory4x4 (the links above) or Prinsu (made by CBI now) or another brand, they are mostly the same, and as far as I know use the same mounting locations and even the same extruded aluminum cross bars. I have the Prinsu cabrack and I like it. When it has nothing on it there is no noticeable noise even at freeway speeds. When I have rifle cases up there sometime I get a whistle here and there.

EDIT: I have no experience with camper shell racks, so keep that in mind.
