    Introducing the Taco Jerry

So I've had my Tacoma for several years and whenever I needed to carry extra gas or water it was always sliding around in the bed. I decided to solve this by designing a bracket that would mount to the bed rails to keep them from sliding around.

-THICK GAUGE BRUSHED ALUMINUM (won't rust)
    -ANIT THEFT FASTENERS
    -MADE IN VIRGINIA
    -OPTIONAL LOCKING/STRAP
    -OPTIONS FOR POWDER COATED

Note: I just finished a batch of 18 but plan to make more in the future.

I’m going to have to reorganize a bit but they will do for the price compared to some others I’ve seen! :fistbump:

I am assuming that the set up will block the bed light. Right?

Will it work with a tonneau cover? Or do you know if there are jerry cans that are a touch shorter than the ones pictured? I feel mine wouldn’t close with these:notsure: debating whether to go with jerry cans or rotopax. Anyone with thoughts on this? I have molle panels on both sides of my bed. TIA

These would be great if you could change the mounting plate to the side so they could mount side by side on the back cab wall! I would be down for 2 made that way!

Not at all! These mount on the side bed rails between the wheel Wells and the tailgate. There shouldn’t be a light there.

it all depends on your tonneau cover. It’s definitely snug I can tell you that. If you want to send me a private message with the clearance height from the bed to the underside of the tonneau I can let you know.

What’s the lead time on the powder coat.... I know they are aluminum but wasn’t a price difference to make me pass.

No rush, I’m just curious. My drunken arts & crafts game is pretty horrific! You should see my front PS fender and slider paint job!

Any plans to make an anti theft latch that holds the water/ gas can in? Anti theft for the rig is cool but would be nice to anti theft the thing it holds as well. Cool product and beauty looking as well.

I have to get them powder coated because I ran out of the last batch I had. I’m guess a week or two.

I’m not fully understanding. They each come with anti theft fasteners and then you ca add the mod in the store for a anti theft locking cable at check out if you want that added feature.

Ah I thought it was anti lock for the carrier itself. Should have looked at the actual link. Thanks my man. Looks solid.

Can’t even see it over the bed rail! Low profile.
