Had a rotten smell today in the cab. Pulled the cabin filter and found 5 live baby and 1 dead adult mice. How in the hell to they get in?? 2020 Access cab. Just so you know I work with animals all the time, I know they can get in small places. I would like to know if the mice have a favorite place on the 3rd generation to sneak in?????? Thanks

Double check all the wiring in the engine bay. Count yourself lucky if all they did was trash your filter.

The screen leading to the cabin air filter is plastic, they chew through easily. Someone around here used wire mesh to fix it.

Lust looked at my cowl under the wipers and it has a micro screen on the fresh air intake.

Did you lift the cowl and look at the actual intake point?

    My write up.

While 3rd gens added the leaf screen on the cowl at some point (after they read my post :D) I've not seen anyone show a factory provided cover over the actual intake opening.

No CB I would need to find a step by step of cowl removal on the 3rd generation.
