They are a big bird but if you take the time to pattern your gun and know your ranges it’s not that hard at all to make an ethical kill shot. The goal is to shoot them in the head and the neck and the best part about that is you don’t end up with a lot of pellets in the meat.

I shot this Jake which is a one year old male With my crossbow in 2019 it was a 12 yard shot.

I had a great day at work yesterday thanks for the help of TW @toyeclub club members volunteering their time out on the range! :hattip:

    Anyone recognize these tacos?

Had to stop for ‘em 4 separate times last week just so they could cross the road. Not much of a hunt for me. As for pellets, keep blastin’. Gotta be somethin’ out there to tenderize them Birds.:infantry:

Another successful trail pre run and pre-clean up, don’t you worry guys, large freezer and other garbage still awaits you there for the summer club meet!

Full bed of garbage was collected, trail conditions are good, slick and muddy. Bring a winch

Little 2wd adventure today. Took my gf to a local quarry we hadn't been to in a few years.

I found all the roads blocked with big boulders so I had to stretch out the tacos legs and with a new route, ended up on 3 wheels for the first time, seemed more intense in person

A little wheel spin on the way out but no problem for the all-stock taco.

Finished the day with an oil change, I'm only at 4,900km but I wanted the factory oil out.
