Clicking Sound when Accelerating from a Stop

Hello All,

I have a 2007 Tacoma, automatic. It recently started making a licking sound in the rear end when I accelerate from a stop. It makes the sound for a few seconds then stops. It doesn't happen when in reverse. Please see the attached videos.

Has anyone seen this before? Thank you in advance!

 

Universal joint. Get all three done when you get the defective worn one replaced. The other two are probably not far behind.

 

Probably a u joint but I had the same problem and it was just because the bolts from the drive shaft to the differential were loose

 

Thanks Guys! I replaced the 3 u-joints and the carrier bearing and everything sounds great again!
