Looking for any ideas/products out there for disguising contents of the lower driver side in-door storage pocket. pistol will fit there, but would rather it not be visible when looking in from passenger side window.

I keep binoculars in mine, and carry my Nikon with a 55-200mm lens in the glove box. Always find binocs
handy when scouting around the desert to peep under rocks and stuff looking for friendly rattlers. I wrap
them in a simple dish-towel which keeps it from knocking around, and it looks tidy. You might just consider
doing that with your hand-gun... someone looking in would see a rolled up small towel.

the idea is to have something hidden from view when I'm not in the truck. Thanks to those answering with helpful suggestions. I thought maybe there would be a custom fitted product somewhere, since there's so many aftermarket enthusiasts for Tacomas.
It's been awhile since I use online forums...it's a shame there's still no shortage of unhelpful sarcastic trolls. Bless your hearts!

When seated in the driver's seat the entire lower door is obscured by the driver's legs.

Call me whatever you want. Keeping a weapon in your vehicle while vacant is irresponsible and open to liability.

Maybe some kind of 3D printed bucket formed to fit there could serve this purpose. I'm interested as well.

    Welllll, enough of that....
    To discourage further highjacking:

I have some binoculars which won't fit in the full center console and full glove box that I would like to obscure from view to opportunist car vandals while I'm not in the truck. I like the towel idea, which I'll use unless someone comes up with a product reference. The 3D printed bucket or cover is a heck of an idea. Since I don't have one, maybe someone can design something that we can buy?
