Nice to see these on a runner, what size did you put on it?

295/70/17. I'm impressed that the 4runner is still quite pleasant to drive.

I run mine down to 12 for rock crawling. From the chalk test 34psi up front and 32 in the rear seems perfect street pressure for even wear for the weight I carry.

Really 32? I was at 37 and dropped to 33 and found it squirrels on the road.

This is a good way to find a starting point. It will tell you the proper pressure to maintain your vehicle's load rating. From there, you can adjust as needed. With smaller LT tires like yours, the calculated pressure always seems a bit high. FWIW, I run 35 PSI on 295/70/17's but this is on a 4runner that's constantly carrying 500# of extra weight.

I like to run 36/37 PSI (285/75/17) for daily driving. I've tried around 32/33 but it just didn't drive well

They aren't always experts either. The doofs who mounted my previous set of tires aired them up to 80psi because the sidewall said that was the max pressure. Think I chipped my tailbone on the drive home.

80 is far from 32, so id say they're at least more knowledgeable than your guy

The same guy also didn't bother to ask if I wanted the TPMS transferred over to the new tires.

Tire shop had my brand new tires at 60 PSI. The truck felt every pebble on the road. It was easy to see they were over-inflated. Check your inflation!

Funny how my tires just set themselves.
I wake up, it kinda cold where I am at in the black mtn range in the am, so they start off in the high 20s, as I come down the mtn over big rocks and couple small ledges, they begin to warm up.
I hit the FSR and I am at low 30s, by the time I am making my way onto pavement I am at 34/35, lastly on the faster roads I am rolling 36,37,37,39 lol

I am on set of BFG KM3s btw

Quite a few things at this point..
I run my 255/85r16s at 37/36psi for daily driving. Usually drop to 15psi when offroading.

    I run my 235/85/16’s at 38psi. 20psi for regular off-roading. 15psi if I’m getting crazy
