    Open the hood, remove the cowl cover, and look for dead animal. Fresh air intake is on the passenger side.

    Exactly this. Mold/mildew on the evaporator. Also doesn't hurt to check the cabin air filter, but that is rarely the cause not to mention make sure the condensation line flows freely.

    Aw, its ok. The more people telling him to turn off the ac and letting the air dry it out before parking, the better! At least it wasnt mold from the leaky brake light.
